Abstract

Smart grid consists of multiple different entities related to various energy management systems which share fine-grained measurements among themselves in an optimal and reliable manner. Such delivery is achieved through intelligent transmission distribution networks composed stakeholders like Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), Master Remote Terminal (MTU RTU), Storage Centers users power utility departments subject volatile changes requirements. Hence, secure accessibility data becomes vital the context efficient functioning smart grid. In this paper, we propose a practical attribute-based encryption scheme for securing sharing access Grid architectures with added advantage obfuscating policy. This aimed at preserving privacy competing operators. We build our on Linear Secret Sharing (LSS) Schemes supporting any monotone structures thus enhancing expressiveness policies. Lastly, analyze security, policy collusion resistance properties cryptosystem provide efficiency comparison as well experimental analysis using Charm-Crypto framework validate proficiency proposed solution.
